Home Learning 

This section is primarily to notify parents of the Home Learning which your child will bring home.  Your child will bring their Home Learning books home on a Monday and are asked to bring these back on Friday.

Spelling

Beginning week 2, your child will be given 5 spelling words each week. They will have a spelling test on a Friday.  These words will be learned as part of their take home learning.

Different methods of learning these words are:

• Writing the words down.
• Spelling them out loud.
• Making the words using play-doh, pipe cleaners or magnetic letters.

Other Home Learning

• Reading.
• Maths.
• Inquiry Learning (from time to time your child may get work related to the inquiry topic that we are studying).
