Come into Room 7 and check out our instructions for how to make a Nutella or Marmite Sandwich! We have been focusing on Procedural Writing during Writing time at the moment.

Clever Cookies

Four students from Room 7 baked cookies with Miss Gosden today. These students have shown our school values all term and were rewarded with being able to bake some cookies!

Room 7 enjoyed the baking that Nikora, Adriana, Jayziah and Molly did. 

Movie + Popcorn Treat

Room 7 has worked hard the last few weeks to earn a movie and popcorn afternoon.

Well done Room 7 for working together to earn it!

Our Ferrymead Trip

We had a great time at Ferrymead! The students learnt about what life was like 100 years ago. We visited the movies, bakery, school house, family home and went on the tram. The students (and the teachers) got to dress up in costumes for the day. We had a blast!

Room 7 Awards

Well done to Aurora and Molly for receiving the class awards this week!

Shine Time

Room 7 had a great time at Shine Time on Friday. We had a great turn out of whānau. The students enjoyed sharing their learning on the iPads and doing paper crafts...and of course eating the yummy chocolate biscuits!

Painting

We have started our painting unit today by learning to mix colours. I was so impressed with the students for the focus, eagerness and care taken to mix the colours!

We are all looking forward to next Monday afternoon when we continue our painting!
